The day before yesterday, 15 October, the Spanish Semiconductor Industry Association (AESEMI) held its 2025 Ordinary General Assembly.
During the Assembly, the association’s progress over the last year and its vision for the future were presented. The new Board of Directors was also elected, with Carlos Pardo being chosen as the new president of AESEMI. An industrial engineer from ICAI, he is the co-founder and CEO of KD, with more than 30 years of experience in the sector. With regard to the association, Carlos is a co-founder and former vice-president, as well as representing AESEMI before Allpros, leading the supply chain group.

We appreciate the active participation of all members and the commitment shown to the future of the industry. This new cycle reaffirms our mission to consolidate a solid, competitive and sustainable semiconductor ecosystem in Spain.
We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Álvaro Pineda, outgoing president, for his excellent work, leadership and dedication during his years at the helm of the association. His commitment has been fundamental in consolidating the foundations of AESEMI and strengthening collaboration between stakeholders in the sector.

We continue to move forward together towards a strategic, innovative and high value-added industry.
