AESEMI joins the Industrial Alliance on Processors and Semiconductor Technologies

The Spanish Semiconductor Industry Association (AESEMI) joins the Industrial Alliance on Processors and Semiconductor Technologies (ALLPROS), thus reinforcing its role at international level and promoting the participation of the Spanish sector in the development of key technologies for the future of the industry. Álvaro Pineda, president of AESEMI, emphasizes that from the association “we approach with enthusiasm the task of integrating AESEMI in ALLPROS, with the aim of contributing and collaborating actively in the development and growth of the entire European electronics value chain”.

ALLPROS is an international industry benchmark that makes the most of the electronics value chain in the European Union. Its objective is to strengthen the capacity of the European industry to develop and create advanced chips and semiconductors. It is composed of major companies and institutions at the European level and all are involved in developing Europe’s technological independence and reducing dependence on external suppliers in key sectors.

Through this alliance, members participate in innovative projects, share knowledge and resources, and work to ensure that Europe is at the forefront in the development of advanced processors and semiconductor technologies.

AESEMI, which represents the main Spanish companies dedicated to microelectronic design and semiconductor manufacturing, has among its objectives to promote the sector at national and international level and to give visibility to all the companies that are part of the Spanish technological ecosystem of semiconductors and microelectronics. With this incorporation to ALLPROS, the association takes an important step in this sense, being part of a strategic alliance at international level.
