The Spanish Semiconductor Industry Association (AESEMI) continues to develop its portfolio of services to its members by launching newsletters on aid and international activity in the sector.
AESEMI, fully aware of its commitment to the sector, is expanding its portfolio of services for its members with the launch of a series of specialised newsletters. These publications will focus on informing about the latest grants available and relevant international activities in the semiconductor sector, two areas that we have identified as being of particular interest to the Spanish ecosystem.
Boosting information on aid
The first of the newsletters will focus on providing members with detailed information on various grants and subsidies available both nationally and internationally. This initiative responds to the growing need of companies in the sector to be informed about funding opportunities that can boost their research and development projects, especially considering that in Spain we have the PERTE CHIP as a transformative element. The newsletters will include essential information about the calls, such as dates, budgets, or general area of the call activity.
Gradually, aid from the different autonomous communities will be incorporated through the information services they offer for alerts on calls for proposals of interest to the sector.
Promoting international activity
The other newsletter will highlight the main international activities and events affecting the semiconductor sector, through our. This will include trade fairs, conferences, business-to-business collaborations and expansion opportunities in global markets. AESEMI aims to provide our members with a strategic overview of the most relevant trends and opportunities in the international arena, helping them to strengthen their presence and competitiveness in the global market.
International activity will be monitored, with a special emphasis on the European Union, where we will work closely with AENEAS, EPoSS and Inside Industry, associations that are part of the CHIPS Joint Undertaking governance framework.
A step forward in boosting the sector
These new communication tools are part of AESEMI’s strategy to boost the internationalisation of the semiconductor sector in Spain. As we hope, the implementation of these newsletters will not only facilitate access to crucial information but also foster a more informed and connected community.
We also hope that the Spanish ecosystem will have greater access to international activities, gaining representation and visibility, which are fundamental in the current context of the industry.
