Gradiant is a private technology centre based in Galicia, dedicated to improving the competitiveness of businesses and specialising in advanced digital technologies: artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, advanced communications, quantum technologies, photonics and microelectronics. Since its foundation in 2008, Gradiant has carried out more than 900 projects, working with over 400 clients in 30 countries, and has spawned five spin-offs. It also plays an active role in strategic European and national projects relating to technological sovereignty, critical digital infrastructure and deep-tech, collaborating with companies, universities, research centres and public authorities to accelerate the industrial adoption of technologies based on microelectronics and semiconductors.
In the field of semiconductors, Gradiant helps to strengthen the Spanish and European value chain through research, design and development of signal processing and RF systems, sensors and AI inference, with applications in telecommunications, space, defence, healthcare and industry, with a particular focus on integrated photonics as an enabling technology.
