IDEADED, deep tech specialising in beyond silicon technologies, joins AESEMI

The Spanish Semiconductor Industry Association (AESEMI) welcomes IDEADED as a new member of the association. With this addition, the national microelectronics and semiconductor ecosystem gains a Spanish deep-tech company specialising in advanced materials and technologies beyond silicon, aimed at enabling new generations of more efficient and sustainable computing.

IDEADED is a company based in the Barcelona metropolitan area that focuses on the design and development of microelectronics technologies based on alternative materials to silicon and emerging architectures. Its work falls within the beyond silicon paradigm, exploring new technological approaches to overcome the physical limitations of conventional silicon and pave the way for new computational paradigms.

The company develops solutions with potential applications in areas such as logistics, distribution, pharmacy and advanced computing, combining research into materials, devices and processes with a vision of medium- and long-term industrial scalability.

Its areas of work include the development of infrastructure and capabilities aimed at technological validation and the progressive scaling of advanced microelectronics processes, as well as technologies with high industrial transfer potential, such as solutions related to RFID antennas using more efficient and sustainable processes.

By joining AESEMI, IDEADED brings to the national ecosystem its expertise in advanced materials, emerging microelectronics and enabling technologies for areas such as high-performance computing (HPC), artificial intelligence and future critical components for the semiconductor industry.

AESEMI, founded in 2021, brings together the leading Spanish companies dedicated to microelectronic design and the semiconductor industry. Its objectives include raising the profile of the national technology ecosystem, promoting its growth and facilitating access to solutions aligned with the global challenges of digitalisation, sustainability and technological autonomy.
