The Spanish Semiconductor Industry Association (AESEMI) welcomes Imperative as a new member of the association. With this addition, the national microelectronics and semiconductor ecosystem is strengthened by a technology company specialising in the design, development and research of advanced integrated circuits, with a focus on high-speed, high-resolution mixed-signal solutions.
Imperative is active in the design, development and research of advanced, high-speed, high-resolution mixed-signal semiconductor integrated circuits, with the aim of bringing new microelectronic design capabilities to the Spanish technology sector. As a start-up, it brings to the ecosystem an approach centred on innovation and the development of high-performance integrated circuits. The company brings advanced design capabilities to the national ecosystem, backed by decades of experience operating in the world’s leading markets and collaborating with the sector’s most prominent companies.
AESEMI, for its part, was founded in 2021 and represents the leading Spanish companies specialising in microelectronic design and semiconductor manufacturing. One of its key objectives is to raise the profile of all the organisations that form part of Spain’s semiconductor technology ecosystem. Thanks to this platform, the growth of the domestic industry is being driven forward and large companies are being provided with access to solutions that contribute to global commitments to decarbonisation and digitalisation – fundamental pillars of the country’s technological competitiveness.
