The University of Seville (US) is an institution with more than 500 years of history that provides a public service of higher education through study, teaching and research, as well as the generation, development and dissemination of knowledge at the service of society and citizenship.

The size and characteristics of the University of Seville make it a city within the city. This is reflected in its campus, which has more than 26 centres, 133 departments and 80,000 m2 of sports facilities spread throughout Seville. In terms of figures, its more than 70,000 students make it the second public university in Spain and the first in Andalusia in terms of enrolment.

All this has contributed to the University of Seville occupying a prominent position in different rankings, achieving a presence in the seven most reputable international rankings.
