Semidynamics joins AESEMI as a new member

The Spanish Semiconductor Industry Association (AESEMI) welcomes Semidynamics as a new member of the association. With this addition, the national microelectronics and semiconductor ecosystem is strengthened by the arrival of a European technology company focused on developing advanced silicon solutions, which are essential for the next generation of artificial intelligence infrastructure.

Semidynamics has established itself as a key player in the development of processor technologies and infrastructure systems designed for artificial intelligence. The company focuses its expertise on the design and creation of advanced hardware with a clear objective: to lead the development of high-performance racks specifically designed for AI inference. This approach enables a dramatic improvement in data processing efficiency and delivers the performance required for the most demanding computing systems on the market today.

Founded in Barcelona in 2016, the company draws on its engineering expertise to develop high-bandwidth silicon solutions designed to meet the critical requirements of artificial intelligence, machine learning and high-performance computing applications. Its value proposition is based on a memory-centred processor architecture, integrating hardware and software to maximise efficiency in data centre infrastructures.

Semidynamics’ contribution to the Spanish and European semiconductor ecosystem is underpinned by its ability to deliver projects with significant technological impact. Its work on developing high-performance silicon and creating RISC-V-based architectures—specifically optimised for large-scale inference—reinforces the company’s role in advancing cutting-edge computing. Furthermore, its participation in strategic initiatives such as the European Processor Initiative (EPI) underscores its commitment to technological sovereignty and industrial innovation in Europe.

Based in Barcelona and with an international team of specialists, Semidynamics works closely with industry partners and European programmes to accelerate the transition towards more efficient and powerful artificial intelligence infrastructures.

AESEMI, for its part, was founded in 2021 and represents the leading Spanish companies specialising in microelectronic design and semiconductor manufacturing. One of its key objectives is to raise the profile of all the organisations that form part of Spain’s semiconductor technology ecosystem. Thanks to this platform, the growth of the national industry is being driven forward and large companies are being provided with access to solutions that contribute to global decarbonisation and digitalisation commitments, which are fundamental pillars of the country’s technological competitiveness.
