Synopsys, Inc. (Nasdaq: SNPS), a longtime global leader in electronic design automation (EDA) and semiconductor IP with the industry’s broadest portfolio of application security testing tools and services, recently joined the Spanish Semiconductor Industry Association (AESEMI).
Synopsys is an industry leader in providing solutions for designing and verifying innovative silicon chips on the most advanced process technologies. AESEMI, founded in 2021, aims to give visibility to companies that are part of the semiconductor technology ecosystem in Spain. Its creation was motivated by the need to digitalize processes, simulate more productive and efficient physical scenarios in real time, develop new technologies for automation and advance optoelectronic development in the automotive sector, among others.
For Danny Moreno, president of AESEMI, Synopsys joining the organization reflects a growing interest in the Spanish semiconductor ecosystem, especially from large international companies that are beginning to further collaborate with companies in the country. “We are especially happy to have a company like Synopsys, and that AESEMI and the Spanish ecosystem continue to grow.
