TECNALIA, the largest applied research and technological development centre in Spain and a benchmark in Europe, joins the Spanish Semiconductor Industry Association (AESEMI). Their union represents a step towards the growth of the sector and the generation of synergies.
The largest applied research and technological development centre in Spain and a benchmark in Europe, TECNALIA, joins AESEMI to advance towards the growth of the sector and the generation of synergies. TECNALIA collaborates with companies and institutions to improve their competitiveness, people’s quality of life and achieve sustainable growth. Its aim is to transform technological research into prosperity and achieve a real impact on society, generating benefits in the form of quality of life and progress.
To this end, it implements R&D&I initiatives in the fields of digitalisation, energy, industry, health, etc. It also has laboratories at the service of companies to certify and validate their processes, systems and products and speed up their arrival on the market. And through TECNALIA Ventures, it builds new businesses from potential opportunities based on sophisticated technologies (deep tech).
AESEMI, for its part, aims to represent the main Spanish companies dedicated to microelectronic design and semiconductor manufacturing. Among its objectives is to give visibility to all the companies that form part of the Spanish semiconductor and microelectronics technology ecosystem, as well as to promote the sector at national and international level.
