AESEMI attends eMobility Expo & World Congress 2023

The Spanish Semiconductor Industry Association (AESEMI) has been present at the eMobility Expo & World Congress in search of support and synergies for the sector.

Ángel Carlos del Pozo, Coordinator of the Industrial Policies Commission, attended the “eMobility Expo & World Congress” at Feria Valencia on behalf of AESEMI. After making contact with companies and research centres in Spain and other EU countries, he noted the need to join forces to make the semiconductor sector grow.

The Coordinator of the Industrial Policy Commission and member of the association representing the company EQUIP Electronics, presented the need to unite stakeholders of the country’s technology sector around AESEMI, in order to grow the semiconductor cluster. This request is particularly relevant as this is a key sector for the mobility industry. “At this time it is more necessary than ever to boost the ecosystem from within, working together to develop our capabilities; even more so with a view to the first PERTE Chip funds that will arrive this year,” stressed del Pozo.

The event, which is taking place in Valencia from 21 to 23 March, brings together innovative companies in the sustainable mobility sector and provides them with a suitable framework to generate synergies and present new products that help to advance the technological transition promoted by the sustainable development goals of the 2030 agenda. In total, more than 5,000 industry professionals and managers have gathered at Feria Valencia.
