AESEMI welcomes the new Minister of Industry Héctor Gómez

AESEMI, the Spanish Semiconductor Industry Association, welcomes the new Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Héctor Gómez Hernández, who has been appointed in the last Council of Ministers.

The association congratulates him and expresses its best wishes for this new appointment at a key moment for the industry, in which the actions of the Ministry that he will be heading will be fundamental for the success and activity of a large number of Spanish companies that have their sights set on the policies and incentives that the government has yet to implement.

As the semiconductor industry is a strategic industry, AESEMI shares with the new ministerial team open fronts such as the launch of the first calls for PERTE Chip, the Spanish participation in the approval process of the European Chip Law, or the closure of the IPCEI of Microelectronics and Communication Technologies, among many others.

In order to face all of them, and any other challenge that may arise in the future, AESEMI extends its hand to the new minister, with whom it hopes to be able to develop conversations as fluid as those it has with other ministerial departments.
