COIIM signs collaboration agreement with the Spanish Semiconductor Industry Association

The Official College of Industrial Engineers of Madrid (COIIM) and the Spanish Semiconductor Industry Association (AESEMI) have signed an agreement with the aim of establishing a collaboration framework that allows the development of projects and activities of mutual interest.

Both entities will work together on various lines of cooperation in order to improve the quality of the services they offer and promote the development of innovative projects related to industrial engineering and the semiconductor industry.

The actions foreseen in the agreement include the organisation of events, fairs, congresses, seminars, thematic conferences and round tables, especially within the framework of the Congress organised by the COIIM (CIBITEC), with the aim of disseminating knowledge in its areas of development.

Also, collaboration with the technical committees of the Association and the Association (COIIM and AIIM) through the incorporation of industrial engineers from AESEMI member companies, as well as in the preparation of reports and in the support of regulatory reforms.

In addition, this Collaboration Agreement will allow executives from AESEMI member companies to join the COIIM’s Board of Directors.

Training and experience

The COIIM’s mission is to promote activities for the development of industrial engineering and to ensure the satisfaction of the general interests related to this discipline. For this reason, it attaches great importance to the training and experience of its professionals. In this sense, the agreement signed with AESEMI will favour the exchange of training, courses and teachers between both organisations.

Likewise, scholarship programmes for young engineers and business internships for engineering students will be organised, as well as collaboration programmes for entrepreneurship and the development of joint mentoring projects and collaboration programmes for social engineering projects and advantageous agreements for project visas.

With this strategic alliance, the Official College of Industrial Engineers of Madrid and the Spanish Semiconductor Industry Association will promote research, innovation and technological development in their respective fields, for the benefit of society and industrial progress.
