LeapWave is dedicated to the development of high frequency interconnects using dielectric waveguides, covering the design and packaging of radio frequency and optoelectronic circuits.
This Madrid-based company brings a paradigm-shifting vision to high-bandwidth interconnects. In this sense, it offers enabling solutions beyond current capabilities in applications such as wideband, millimetre-wave and submillimetre-wave interconnects.
Applications of LeapWave’s technology cover a wide range of cases, including wafer-level test (WLT) for high-speed semiconductor devices, ultra-wideband (UWB) interconnect for new communication devices, non-contact measurements, and hybrid assembly and packaging of photonic and RF interconnects. To develop its technology, LeapWave brings together technical profiles from the fields of RF, photonics and electronics.
With its incorporation to AESEMI, it adds its knowledge and experience in the sector, while at the same time it represents a new step towards the cohesion of the Spanish semiconductor ecosystem.
